This well maintained, detached, two bedroom villa
is all on one level and situated in a residential area within walking
distance of two lovely sandy beaches, and close to bars, restaurants,
shops and other amenities. (Suitable for wheel-chair clients.)
There are a number of restaurants close by of which two of our clients
favourites, The Beach Bar and The Voramor, offer good value and
pleasant and efficient service.
The house is in a perfect location for a relaxing holiday away from
the milling crowds of the tourist resorts round Palma and is one
of just eight villas in a small close, within walking distance (400
metres) of the lovely safe and sandy beach of Cala Mendia. A further
similar cove (Cala Anguila) is also just a short walk (900 metres)
away. Both have their own beach bars, sun-beds and 'tropical island
type' straw umbrellas.
The house is comfortably furnished and well equipped. It has a private
swimming pool with a shallow end and steps down into the pool.
Bedrooms: There are two twin bedrooms, both with a good supply of
wardrobe and drawer space (plenty of coat hangers). A security safe
is also provided for clients use at no extra charge. Air conditioning/heating
units are in both bedrooms, and the main bedroom has french doors
which open onto the swimming pool area. A cot and high chair are
available - at a cost of £30 per week - and a fifth (child)
occupant is possible on a collapsible bed.
Lounge: The villa has an unusual circular shaped and spacious lounge
with two new comfy sofas and a feature fireplace which contains
an electric heater for use during any chilly nights out of season.
There is a DVD/CD player and Satellite TV with a large variety of
channels (including most BBC and ITV stations and digital radio)
is available free of charge. The dining area has a large pine table
and chairs - for those who don't want to eat 'al fresco'.
The sideboard contains a small selection of board games and a good
variety of paperback books which guests are very welcome to use.
Kitchen: The compact bright and airy modern fitted kitchen is equipped
with everything needed for a self-catering holiday. Full cooking
facilities are provided (gas hobs, electric oven and microwave oven)
There is a large fridge/freezer, toaster, electric kettle, food
mixer and lots of tumblers, wine glasses and crockery. Stainless
steel double sink and draining board for those essential washing-up
chores.!! There is a washing machine in the bathroom for clients
use.
Gardens/ Swimming Pool: The private shaped swimming pool is approximately
7 x 4 metres at its widest point. with a depth of 1.9 x 1.2metres
at the shallow end where the access ladder is located. There are
sun-bathing/leisure terraces, and the house is surrounded by gardens
with decorative gravel surfaces at the front of the house and a
beautiful all weather lawn. There is also an additional terraced
area at the front of the villa which faces west so one can watch
the sun go down over the distant hills!!. There is an ample supply
of leisure furniture - table, chairs and sun-loungers/ sun umbrella
and a built in BBQ is provided as is outside lighting.
Bathroom: A full family bathroom comprises bath and shower which
can be partially enclosed with a shower curtain. Wash hand-basin
and w/c are also in the bathroom. A washing machine for guests use
is located in the bathroom.
Because the accommodation is so close to all of the amenties, car
hire is not essential during the months of May through to October.
